A Necklace in a Sandwich

A strange title for a post , I know. But read on and you will discover what I am on about. I have always stuck to a fairly traditional use of necklaces as an accessory. With simple necklines or strapless dresses, I often wear a more elaborate necklace or choker, with medium high necklines, I wear short necklaces, with V necks or blouses, medium pendant necklaces and with high or polo necked jumpers I wear longer necklaces that hang over the top of the fabric. In fact, I think I almost always stick to these rules, although is is not really intentional , it is just what I feel looks best.

David Szeto has now changed all of this for me and turned my whole view of how to wear a necklace upside down, or should I say inside out, with his necklace in a sandwich. I am referring to a double wrapped pearl necklace incased in a top between a silk and mesh layer. The top is really simple and neutral but just forces you to look again at the necklace hiding underneath. A great effect, I think and defintely one I will be looking to recreate.
