LTD 100

I am feeling quite disappointed with myself for missing out on such an opportunity. The opportunity to nab myself some goodies designed for the LTD 100 collection - a collaboration between London College of Fashion and ASOS. The panel of judges, Top model Ben Grimes, Market Editor at Vogue, Emma Elwick, owner B store, Matthew Murphy and designer Henry Holland had to whittle down 300 designs by final year students to just 100 for the final collection. The winners were Samantha Ball in the menswear category for her skillfully tailored coat, Ursuala Inglis Jones in the accessories category for a beautifully finished leather bag and overall and womenswear winner Lui Sin Ki for a black sequin dress with a sharp architecturally inspired shape. The collection was sold online within 2 minutes of going on sale. A post by Lillie be on the subject gives a good idea of the gorgeousness of the collection. Whilst I am still cursing myself for missing out on such goodies, I can console myself with the fact that the winners will each have an internship with ASOS, can’t wait to see what results.

Should it happen again next year- I already have the date in my diary ready - yes I am getting myself organised so that I do not miss out again.
