Catwalk Genius

Bubble Cape by Ostwald Helgason

When it comes to investing money, I have so many ideas, just not much money. So here is another great idea. Unfortunately not one that I can afford at the moment, but perhaps one for the future when I am rich. Catwalk Genius is the name of an initiative where you can buy the work of new and emerging designers and also buy shares in their next collection and get a slice of the profit. I have no idea on the financials of this, but it sound like a great idea and an exciting prospect. The idea is that once you have invested in the designers next collection, you can also promote it yourself to help it do well therefore maximising the profit and your slice. This sounds like a great idea for fashion bloggers who could find a designer that they love and then tell the world why they love them (that's what we do any way isn't it?). I love the idea of trying to pick out a designer that you think will do well and also think it is a great way to support new designers. You also get a 10% discount on the clothes for the next 6 months.

If you don't fancy becoming a fashion investor, you can of course just look at or buy the goodies on offer in the Boutique, the shop floor and the sample sale sections which include pieces by Jojo&malou, Markus Lupfer, Nicola De Main, Georgie W Couture, Oswald Helgason and Laura Lees.
