New York Fashion Week

I have made a very concious decision not to post about New York Fashion Week. Partly because there are so many people doing it so much better than I possibly could and partly because I am far too lazy. Anyone who wants to read more about it would be well advised to visit Style Bubble, Susie is able to give her usual great commentary with an insiders view as she is lucky enough to be there. Not that I am jealous of course as she absolutely deserves it.

So for todays post I have picked out just two outfits which I would most like to have. if I can't have them (which I can't) then perhaps they will just be a small amount of inspiration for my autumn winter wardrobe.

rodarte fall 09Rodarte - I don't know if I could pull off the long boots (I mean work this looks, rather than taking them off, although that might be tricky aswell). But I just love the textures of the skirt and the cowl neck thing with the jacket. Perhaps I can serach Etsy for something similar.

Erin Fetherstone fall 09Erin Fetherstone - I love the fabulour sparkly bits on this dress and peplum skirt. Overall a unique and interesting shape which makes a change from the same old stuff all the time.

Now time to concentrate on London which is by far my favourite of all the fashion weeks. Lots of new designers and talent to be checking out I can't wait.

Those boots were insanee, but so cool! And that is a good point about them being hard to literally pull off. I actually prefer this collection to their shredded knitwear
